The exhibition project B1/A40 explores the precarious urban space between Duisburg and Dortmund along the A40 since 2010. The published book presents not only artistic works, but creates a complex picture about the region.

Several perspectives related on the context of art project in public space – also in Düsseldorf – will be discussed after a short presentation of the project.
