Reruns: Terrassen presents Fanny Howe
Screening
Tuesday, June 9, 2026
7 PM
To inaugurate the new series of events, Reruns, the Copenhagen-based roving cinema Terrassen presents a screening of short films by the late American poet and author Fanny Howe in the foyer of the Kunstverein. The event offers a rare glimpse into a lesser-known part of Howe’s practice, one that extends and sharpens the poetic, political, and philosophical sensibility running through her writing, all the while paying little attention to the boundaries of genre.
A special selection of Howe’s books, published by Divided Publishing, along with a book on Yvonne Rainer published by Terrassen, will be available for purchase during the event.
Terrassen engages with the social life of film. Previous screenings and events organized by them have included programs featuring Terre Thaemlitz, Trinh T. Minh-ha, Edward Owens, Ogawa Productions, and Nina Menkes. All screenings are free and everyone is welcome.
Terrassen was invited by Gloria Hasnay. Reruns is supported by The Gingko Foundation.
Film still: Fanny Howe, What Nobody Saw, 1987
