On the occasion of the Nacht der Museen, artist and writer Thea Mantwill presents her debut novel on April 26, 2025 at 8 pm: Glühfarbe accompanies an unnamed main character in her personal and economic emancipation from isolation and economic dependence into an artistic practice and independence, which, however, also means loss and change. In conversation with the publisher Richard Stoiber, various aspects of this near-future novel are highlighted.

Thea Mantwill (*1990 in Gräfelfing, DE) studied at the art academies in Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf, where she graduated as a Meisterschülerin of John Morgan. Her multimedia work combines texts with visual art. Mantwill lives and works in Düsseldorf.

The event will take place in the Salon des Amateurs.
