The “What Did I Do?” Invocation
Thursday, October 1, 2020
This Thursday – on the first evening of his ongoing series of lectures – Josef Strau will be introducing a further text object from another old box from the past and his earlier life in New York. This element, namely the experiment of “extemporaneous speech”, the unprepared, randomly occurring speech in front of an audience, will once again be both practiced and talked about.
Since the number of participants is limited for both events, we would kindly request that you register at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that the wearing of a mouth and nose mask is still obligatory when participating. Thank you for your understanding!
Admission: 5 Euro / 3 Euro (reduced). Free Admission for members.
The event accompanies the exhibition Josef Strau – Spirits and Objects… and How Non-Productive Love Is Sometimes Contained in Them…, on view at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande and Westfalen, Düsseldorf through November 22, 2020.
