Solomon Garçon (b. 1991) is an artist based in London. Working across performance, sculpture, and sound, his practice slips between visibility and vacancy, often intertwining histories of domestic surveillance technologies and the mediation of popular narratives. He explores how spaces control perception, attention, and physical presence. Architecture, objects, and sound act as active participants in this process to involve the viewer in situational, often ambivalent scenarios. His recent solo and group exhibitions include Passage du Commerce, Kunsthalle Winterthur (2025); Fake Barn Country, Raven Row, London (2025); Group show, Galerie Buchholz, New York (2025); The Apartment, Galerina, London (2024/25); sunset beach, 243 Luz, Margate (2024); Solomon’s Knock with Samuel Hindolo, Galerie Buchholz, Berlin (2023), and S N I T C H, Rose Easton, London (2022). His first solo institutional exhibition in the UK was ARMS, Studio Voltaire (2023).
