The edition Celular #1-5 (Spanish for ‘mobile phone’) by Sol Calero was created exclusively for the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf on the occasion of Calero´s solo show Pica Pica (September 1st – October 28th, 2018). It refers to the artist´s cell phone that was thought to have been lost but finally found. Each of the five unique copies of the series is thus an individually crafted Milagrito by Sol Calero, which can only be purchased by members of the Kunstverein.
